How To Import Data in Outlook 2019

If you are Importing Data from an older version of Outlook, accessing archived files, or transferring your mailbox items on to a different computer, Outlook 2019 and Outlook 2016 has very similar steps on how you can import your data to your Outlook 2019.

 

IMPORTANT: By following the steps below would mean that you have already done the initial process of Exporting your Data from your Outlook.

 

How To Import Data in Outlook 2019

  1. Open Outlook 2019 on your desktop and from your Home window, click on the File tab.

  2. Click on Open & Export option, then select on Import/Export.

  3. On the Import and Export Wizard window, select Import from another program or file option and click the Next button.

  4. Select the Outlook Data File (.pst) option and click the Next button.

  5. Click the Browse button to locate the .pst file and choose from the options below to apply to your imported files, then click Next.
     
    • Replace duplicates with imported items
    • Allow duplicates to be created
    • Do not import duplicates

  6. Select the top-level folder and ensure that the Include subfolders option is selected, then select the destination of the .pst file to be imported, and click the Finish button.
