How To Set up Payment Options in Website Builder

Website Builder not only gives you the easiest way to build your website, but also the most convenient tools that you can use for your Store. You can set up a variety of Payment Options for your customers, matching options to that which best suits your customer's needs, to ensure that you are able to provide the best customer experience.

Important: The Store option is only available for the eCommerce Website Builder plan and will not appear on all other Website Builder plans. If you want to easily set up an Online Store with complete SSL protection and easy setup and monitoring of Products and Orders, you will need to upgrade your current Website Builder plan or purchase a new eCommerce Website Builder plan.

To add a Payment Option to your Store in Website Builder, follow the instructions below:

  1. Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
  2. Select Account Manager from the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter your username and password then, click Log In.
  4. Click the Visit My Account button.
  5. Click Website Builder from the menu at the top of the page.
  6. Click on the eCommerce Website Builder plan that you wish to manage.
    If you only have one Website Builder plan, you will automatically be redirected to its management page.
  7. Hover your mouse pointer over the [+] Icon at the upper right-hand section of the page and click Build Now.
  8. On the Sites page of your Website Builder Dashboard, hover your mouse pointer over the project/website that you would like to customise and click EDIT.
  9. Click Store from the left-side menu.
    If this is your first time accessing this option, click Get Started then wait a few seconds for the Website Builder Editor to add a Store page and Shopping Cart to your website.
  10. Click Settings from the left-side menu, then click Payments.
  11. Click on the Manage link from the left-side menu to open the pop-up window.

    Note: This is where you will find the list of Current payment methods you've added. You can enable/disable them by clicking on their corresponding button on its right, and you can click the corresponding Actions button to Edit, Sort, and Remove an added method.

  12. Follow the steps below to set up Square, PayPal, Manual Payments, and Other Payment Methods:

    Square Payments
    To start accepting credit and debit cards using your Square account:
    1. Under Square, click the Connect and Enable Square button.
    2. On the Permissions page, click Allow. You will then be routed back to Website Builder.
      Or if prompted, enter your Square account username and password, click Sign In, then click Allow on the next page.
    3. On the Square account details section, click the Manage Square Account button to go to your Square account dashboard.
      Or, click the Disconnect Square link to disconnect your account from Website Builder.
    4. On the Appearance options section, edit the Display name at checkout and enable/disable the Show at checkout option.
    5. On the Payment instructions for customers section, click the Set payment instructions at checkout link to show a text box under it, enter your instructions, then click Save.

    PayPal Payments
    To start accepting payments using your PayPal account:
    1. Under PayPal, click the Enable PayPal button if the email address specified is the same email connected to your PayPal account.
      Otherwise, you can click the Change PayPal account link first, to enter the correct email address, then click Enable PayPal.
    2. Scroll back to the top to find Current payment methods, then hover your mouse pointer over PayPal Checkout and click Edit.
    3. On the PayPal Checkout account details section, click the Change PayPal account link to edit the PayPal account email address connected to your Website Builder Store, or click Advanced settings and click Enable PayPal checkout on the cart page if preferred.
    4. On the Appearance options section, edit the Display name at checkout and enable/disable the Show at checkout option.
    5. On the Payment instructions for customers section, click the Set payment instructions at checkout link to show a text box under it, enter your instructions, then click Save.

    Manual Payments
    To create your own payment method, like the pre-added Phone Order and Cash on delivery options:
    1. Under Manual payment methods, click on the Add Manual Payment Method button.
    2. Under Display name at checkout, enter a name for your customised method.
    3. Click the Set payment instructions at checkout link to show a text box under it, enter your instructions, then click Save.

    Other Payment Options
    To choose from a list of 50 plus providers that accept PayPal, credit and debit cards, and other online Payment Options:
    1. Under Other ways to get paid, click on the Choose Payment Processor button and select one from the drop-down list.
    2. You will be routed to the options sections where you can enter required information or connect to the selected payment method.
    3. Under Display name at checkout, enter a name for your customised method.
    4. Click the Set payment instructions at checkout link to show a text box under it, enter your instructions, then click Save.
