Set Up cPanel or Plesk Email in Outlook for Microsoft 365

This guide will help you set up your Crazy Domains email (cPanel or Plesk) in your Outlook for Microsoft 365 application.

Before you proceed, make sure you have:

  • downloaded and installed Outlook for Microsoft 365 application on your desktop,
  • created your email account already. See our guide on how you can create an email account,
  • tried accessing the email via webmail and confirmed that sending and receiving is working,
  • a stable internet connection,
  • your email address and password handy.
 

Setting Up an Email Account in Outlook Microsoft 365

  1. Open your Outlook for Microsoft 365 application, click File, and then Add Account.

    NOTE: If it's the first time you open Outlook for Microsoft 365 on your desktop, you will see a Choose Profile screen. Just click OK to continue, and then click Next if you see the Welcome to Outlook screen.

  2. On the pop-up screen, enter the email address you would like to set up.

  3. Click Advanced options and tick the Let me set up my account manually box.

  4. Click Connect.
  5. In the Advanced setup screen, choose POP or IMAP.

    TIP: Click here to know the difference between IMAP and POP.


  6. Enter the following POP or IMAP values:
     

    IMAP ACCOUNT SETTINGS

    Incoming Mail Server
    mail.(yourdomain.com)
    Port
    143, or 993 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)
    Outgoing Mail Server
    mail.(yourdomain.com)
    Port
    25, 587, or 465 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)

    POP ACCOUNT SETTINGS

    Incoming Mail Server
    mail.(yourdomain.com)
    Port
    110, or 995 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)
    Outgoing Mail Server
    mail.(yourdomain.com)
    Port
    25, 587, or 465 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)
     

    IMPORTANT

    • Select SSL/TLS from the dropdown as the Encryption Method.
    • Tick the ☑ Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) boxes.

  7. Click Next.
  8. Enter your email account Password, then click Connect.

  9. Wait for the setup to finish until you see Account successfully added, then click Done.

If you have another Crazy Domains email address to add, just enter your email address in the field provided and follow the same steps provided in this guide.

NOTE

  • Give a little time for your messages to completely load as you may not immediately see them after setting up your email account.
  • Send a test email to check if the setup is successful.
