How to set up Shipping Options in Sitebeat

Other than setting up Payment Options for your Online Store so customers can place their orders, you also need to ensure that your customers know how they're getting what they paid for. There are a variety of Shipping Options in Sitebeat that you can easily set up for your Store.

Important: The Store option is only available for the Sitebeat eCommerce plan and will not appear on all other Sitebeat plans. If you want to easily set up an Online Store with complete SSL protection and easy setup and monitoring of Products and Orders, you will need to upgrade your current Sitebeat plan or purchase a new Sitebeat eCommerce plan.

To add a Shipping Option to your Store in Sitebeat, follow the instructions below:

  1. Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
  2. Select Account Manager from the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter your username and password then, click Log In.
  4. Click the Visit My Account button.
  5. Click Sitebeat from the menu at the top of the page.
  6. Click on the Sitebeat eCommerce plan that you wish to manage.
    If you only have one Sitebeat plan, you will automatically be redirected to its management page.
  7. Hover your mouse pointer over the [+] Icon at the upper right-hand section of the page and click Build Now.
  8. On the Sites page of your Sitebeat Dashboard, hover your mouse pointer over the project/website that you would like to customise and click EDIT.
  9. Click Store from the left-side menu.
    If this is your first time accessing this option, click Get Started then wait a few seconds for the Sitebeat Editor to add a Store page and Shopping Cart to your website.
  10. Click Settings from the left-side menu, then click Shipping.
  11. Under Shipping Origin, click Add Address to specify where you are shipping the products from, then click Save.
    Click the [←] Back Icon to go back to Shipping settings.
  12. Click the Add link beside Shipping Options.

    Note: This is where you will find the list of Current Shipping Methods you've added. You can enable/disable them by clicking on the corresponding button on its right, and you can click the corresponding Actions button to Edit, Sort, and Delete an added method.

  13. Click Add Shipping Method if you want to set up a Local Delivery option, Select a Carrier, or Add a Carrier; or click Add In-store Pickup to set up your instructions for how and when customers can pick up their orders. For a more detailed instruction on the Shipping Option that you want to add, follow the respective steps below:

    Local Delivery
    If you prefer to deliver your products yourself, or you'd like to use a local delivery service for nearby areas, you can add this option to your Store with these steps:

    1. Click on the Add Shipping Method button.
    2. Click Set Up Local Delivery.
    3. Select whether you want to configure this Shipping Option with Free Shipping, a Flat Rate, or Custom Rates by clicking on their corresponding buttons.
    4. Edit the name of the Shipping Option under Shipping name at checkout, click Set delivery speed to specify the estimated time for the order to arrive, and click Set shipping region to specify the destinations that you can ship to with this shipping method.
      For Flat Rate and Custom Rates, set the Amount or custom cost calculation rules under Shipping Rates.
    5. Once done, click Save & Finish.
    Select a Carrier
    Choose a shipping carrier from our growing list of partners to quickly set them up on your Store with these steps:

    1. Click on the Add Shipping Method button.
    2. Click on the View all carriers link at the bottom and select a carrier.
    3. Depending on the carrier selected, you may have to click on a set up button on its right to configure it with Free Shipping, a Flat Rate, or Custom Rates.
      Or, in some cases, you will be routed to the Set up rates page where an additional option will be available for the carrier's Automatic calculated rates, with which no further set up is required.
    Add a Carrier
    If you can't find the carrier you want from the list, you can easily set it up manually so the option can still be available for your customers using these steps:

    1. Click on the Add Shipping Method button.
    2. Under Other carriers, enter the Carrier name and click Set Up.
    3. Select whether you want to configure this Shipping Option with Free Shipping, a Flat Rate, or Custom Rates by clicking on their corresponding buttons.
    4. Edit the name of the Shipping Option under Shipping name at checkout, click Set delivery speed to specify the estimated time for the order to arrive, and click Set shipping region to specify the destinations that you can ship to with this shipping method.
      For Flat Rate and Custom Rates, set the Amount or custom cost calculation rules under Shipping Rates.
    5. Once done, click Save & Finish.
    In-Store Pickup
    Set up this option for customers who prefer to pick up orders themselves, using these steps:

    1. Click on the Add In-store Pickup button.
    2. Under Order pickup label at checkout, enter a name for this Shipping Option.
    3. Under Detailed instructions for customers, edit where and when customers can pickup their orders, or add any relevant information that they may need.
    4. Enable or disable the Ask for Pickup Date and Time at Checkout option as preferred.
    5. Click Add Pickup Option when done.
